Lake of the Woods Ontario Northern Pike Fishing

First Nation Guides is a family-owned boat-in wilderness lodge at the south-east shores of the Aulneau Peninsula within Lake Of The Woods with boats on Crow Lake. Guests are boated in from Nestor Falls or welcome to bring their own boats. Northern Pike fishing is outstanding in their area. On an average day guests can expect to catch 20 to 40 Northern Pike. On a really good day spending the whole day targeting Northern Pike you could catch between 70 and 100. While targeting Northern Pike you should catch a few each day in the 5 to 10 pound range and during a whole week of just Pike fishing you can catch 10 to 20 Pike in the 10 to 20 pound range. Northern Pike up to 25 pounds are available but that's a rare trophy. Accommodations are in a large lakefront housekeeping cottage with all modern amenities. Interiors are tastefully decorated with newer furniture and tongue-&-grove pine throughout. As the name suggest guides are available at all times. They also have fishing for Musky, Northern Pike, Lake Trout, Bass, Perch, Sauger & Crappie.

Northwest Outfitters is located on Shoal Lake which is part of Lake Of The Woods. Northwest Outfitters have great fishing for Northern Pike. This waterway has produced some of the largest Northern Pike in Canada with the Ontario record of 42-pounds caught just a few miles north. Their main lodge is an outpost lodge, which is only accessible by boat or float plane. They offer American Plan accommodations as well as housekeeping outpost cabins. They also have great fishing for Walleye, Smallmouth Bass and monster size Musky.
